Claire is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) whose members are internationally recognised as experts in their field, a member of Mencap’s specialist solicitors panel and, following their mother’s diagnosis, is also a Dementia Friends Champion.

Kelly has 15 years of experience in their field, with expertise in; providing advice and assistance on a wide range of commercial and contractual disputes, including debt recovery, sale of goods claims, professional negligence, defamation, procurement disputes and contentious insolvency. She has acted for a diverse range of clients across both the private and public sectors, including leading banks and finance providers, SME’s, professional service firms, education providers, local authorities and individuals.

Kelly is also a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the Legal 500, 2022 and is ranked as ‘Up and Coming’ in Chambers and Partners, 2022.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 1993, Nigel has a raft of experience, with some examples being: non-contentious Employment advice including the drafting of contracts, policies and handbooks; assisting with the restructuring and reorganization of businesses; working with the corporate team in respect of employment matters e.g. TUPE which are linked to the corporate transaction. He also holds experience in: Contentious Employment issues including dealing with claims arising from disciplinary action, grievances, capability, performance, discrimination, redundancy and procedure; negotiating settlements.

Dave is a former Deputy Decision Maker appointed by the Court of Protection in England and Wales. Dave’s experience comes from working in four diverse local authorities across London and the South East, dealing with varied services, ongoing legislation changes and increased workloads with decreasing resources; managing expectations from both the public and internal colleagues.

Not only does Dave have experience of acting as a Deputy under the Court of Protection, he is also well versed in the complexities of dealing with the statutory obligation of providing funerals under the Public Health Act.
