Finder International has featured in Bdaily for their latest win of the top award at UK Probate Research Awards 2022, which took place last week Thursday in Westminster, London. The awards ceremony saw criminal barrister and TV personality Robert Rinder MBE, who was brought in to host, present the award to ‘BBC Heir Hunter’ regular and MD of Finders International, Danny Curran during the live ceremony.
Regarded as the ‘highest accolade’ at the events, The UK’s largest probate genealogy company were recognised for their work and contribution to the field of probate research or most commonly known as ‘heir hunting’ – the process of tracing beneficiaries to estates, may of which had no idea they were entitled too.
Finders Case Manager, Adam Dean was also successful at this years ‘Probies’, taking home the award for Best Probate Research Paralegal, along with other Finders staff who were recognised as highly commended across awards recognising achievements in international probate research.
The UK Probate Research Awards rewards exceptional work, individuals and firms across probate genealogy and the private client field, encapsulating legal services, household clearance firms, deputyship work and many other contributors to the industry. The company secretary of the International Association of Professional Probate Researchers and Genealogists (IAPPR) Geoffrey Odds, spoke on the night of how the awards is professionalising ‘a little understood’ industry.
