At Finders International, we are excited to announce that we have selected Mind as our chosen charity for 2024. As an organisation deeply committed to making a positive impact, we believe that supporting mental health initiatives is crucial, and we are thrilled to support Mind in the fight for Mental Health.
Our commitment to promoting good mental health
During the course of this year, we will be organising various activities and events to raise awareness and vital funds for Mind.
We will organise various activities and events throughout the year to raise funds for Mind. These initiatives aim not only to contribute financially but also to raise awareness about mental health and reduce the stigma associated with it.
Finders are committed to the well-being of all our staff, so last year, all our Line Managers undertook a Mental Health First Aid course with MHFA England (www.mhfaengland.org) and are now Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAider®). This course teaches knowledge and skills for providing first aid to support people who may be experiencing poor mental health. Alongside this, we also have 3 Mental Health Champions, whose purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of mental health while providing extra support to all staff. Choosing Mind as our chosen charity aligns with these values and practices and the support, we want to provide our staff and anyone we encounter through our work.
Bi-Monthly Support for the Trussell Trust
In addition to our commitment to Mind, we are supporting the Trussell Trust in 2024 by making bi-monthly food bank donations. These donations will be coordinated through all our offices, ensuring our impact is felt across various communities.
The Trussell Trust works tirelessly to combat hunger and poverty in the UK through a network of food banks. We are honoured to support them in their mission and make a meaningful contribution to the fight against food poverty.
